Sinophi Attends China Medical Equipment Fair, UK Pavilion

Shanghai, May 15-18, 2017.

Sinophi Healthcare attended the 77th China Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), held in the National Convention and Exhibition Centre (NCEC) in western Shanghai.  CMEF is now the largest healthcare trade show in China and the largest medical equipment exhibition in Asia Pacific region, this year attracting over 60,000 visitors from over 150 countries, with over 2,000 exhibitors from 21 countries and 13 national country pavilions.

More than 25 UK healthcare companies exhibited at the UK pavilion organised by the Association of British Healthcare Industries (ABHI) and the UK Department of International Trade (DIT).

Dr Hanif Kanji, CEO of Sinophi Healthcare commented: “Sinophi works with a variety of UK healthcare service and product partners in our hospitals in China. As we invest in and partner with more hospitals in China’s 3rd and 4th tier cities, we want to bring more UK suppliers to our hospitals and are seeking quality and price competitive products which are approved in China.  Working closely with the UK Dept of International Trade’s China team and with ABHI, the UK pavilion at CMEF was a very efficient way for us to meet with new UK suppliers and to share our experience of operating and managing hospitals in China.”
